History of The Villas

It is a timeless scene that we can imagine as it was one hundred years ago.

The Ville Bianchi were once the exclusive holiday destination of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy; today they are an ideal place for families and for traditional beach holidays lovers.

Five wonderful villas between the beach and the romantic old town represent an enchanting meeting point between traditional and modern hospitality, an ideal place for your holidays.

1900

The Ville Bianchi were built by an Innsbruck nobleman, Baron Leonhard Bianchi, in 1900, when Grado established itself as a privileged holiday destination for the nobility and bourgeoisie of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and soon became an exclusive holiday destination.

1945-1978

During WWII the buildings were damaged. From 1945 Baron Karl Bianchi, son of Baron Leonhard Bianchi, made some modifications and transformed part of the complex into a two-star category pension.

2000

From 1978 on, the management has been entrusted to the Grigolon family who in 2000, together with the other owners, wanted to celebrate the hundredth anniversary with a complete recovery and redevelopment intervention that enhanced the original forms of the historic complex.
