Thanks to the numerous cycle paths in the city center of Grado, the Alpe Adria cycle path and the cycle path FVG2, Grado could be defined as a real paradise for cyclists!
Grado is located at the end (or at the beginning!) of the Alpe Adria, an itinerary of 425 km between Austria and Italy that connects Salzburg, in the Alps, to Grado on Adriatic Sea, that boasts the title of best cycle path in Europe in 2015.
Further itineraries cover roads, vineyards, fields and routes along the coastline.
The itineraries could be crossed by city bike or mountain bike, and allowed cyclists to discover the most fascinating places around Grado.
They could be passable within a day, providing moments of rest that will allow you to take advantage of the varied food and wine offer of the area.
The recommended seasons are spring and autumn, when the blooms and the chromatic range of colors give a special charm to these extraordinary landscapes.
